Meet the Owner, Chante Dawston, CPA
Chanté Dawston, CPA, is the founder of C-squared Accounting, a firm dedicated to supporting pet care entrepreneurs in maximizing profitability while allowing them to focus on providing their clients with the highest-quality care.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and a master’s degree from the University of North Florida. After college, Chanté began her career at Deloitte & Touche, a Big 4 accounting firm. Here, she served a variety of clients and honed her accounting knowledge and skills, obtaining her CPA license while working.
Continuing to hone her craft, Chanté worked in consulting providing accounting and advisory services. Through her commitment to getting things done right, Chanté has been able to identify and correct issues that saved clients time and money. With more than a decade of experience, she utilizes her accounting and advisory abilities to serve both small and large businesses. She finds the most joy in serving smaller businesses where she has a greater impact and was thus inspired to start her own firm. She has always, however, been passionate about her pets and wants to collaborate with like-minded people.
When she’s not supporting her clients, Chanté enjoys spending time with Brutus, her Great Dane, traveling, and reading.
